Packing Guidelines

Sensitive, delicate parts can easily be broken during the shipping process because of poor packing. It is critical to pack your balance properly prior to shipping to prevent further damage. Follow these packing guidelines to ensure the protection of your unit:

• Re-pack the unit in the original packaging, if possible.
• Double-box the unit and use double layers of loose fill.
• Accessories, such as weighing plates, must be removed from the unit. Place these accessories in a bag near the top of the box.
• Glass doors and base plates must be secured by tape.
